Who designed the CD Jewel Case? (I'm after a person's name aswell as
the company they worked for and year)

Dear tomvk,

The CD Jewel Case was developed in 1981/82 by British designer Peter
Doodson (now retired), who was then working for the Dutch electronics
company Philips, inventors of the Compact Disk.
