Question ID: 718663
I am interested in investigating ideas about whether genetically
engineered crops are safe, and if it is ethical to produce them.
Specifically, I am looking for 6 references available from credible
sources on the web which support both sides of the development of GM
crops, at least 3 points for and 3 points against. I plan to develop
these ideas into a research proposal, so I must use only respected
sources (no general public periodicals such as "Newsweek" but
scientific journals such as "Science" are fine).

I'm interested only in agricultural products here, not animal
products. Some ideas: Are there known or potential hazards to
consuming genetically modified foods? What are the possible
environmental impacts of GM crops? Do pesticide-resistant crops leave
residue in food products derived from them? Is there any merit to the
campaign by many organic/health markets against GM crops?
