is it possible for someone not physically near my computer to put a
username and password in my history, i have a unprotected wireless
network and someones username and password have appeared after I have
accessed the myspace website and go to a profile. When I go to view
something that you have to be logged in to do someone elses name
appears in my dropdown at that point

i am able to go to their myspace home page as if it were my own.

While it is possible for an outsider to gain access to your wireless
network and start "messing" with your computer, its unlikely that
theyd be doing something as trivial as changing your history. It
sounds more like someone else (friends, family?) has been using your
computer. If I were you, id go ahead and log in to that persons user
name and password, and see who it is, this way youll know who has been
on your computer. Handy thing, autosave is.
