Where in lower Manhattan can I find an old fashioned photo booth - the kind that takes four pictures all in a column? I need a very quick answer to this: by 10 am EST Thursday October 3. Payment goes out if answer is received by that time, and if there REALLY IS a working photo booth at the answer location. Photo booth must be in location that is open during the day. Either black and white or color is OK. Thank you... |

Here are two places in lower Manhattan (both near Tompkins Square Park) that have (working) old fashioned photo booths: Lakeside Lounge 162 Ave B New York, NY 10009-4644 Phone: (212) 529-8463 Their photo booth was salvaged from the Asbury Park boardwalk and you can actually view some photos taken with it on their site: http://www.lakesidelounge.com/photo/photoframe.html Barmacy 538 E 14th St New York, NY 10010-5332 Phone: (212) 228-2240 Please note that both of the above locations do not open until 4pm (although they may be open a little earlier on any given day). If this is too late in the day for you, please let me know and I will attempt to locate some additional places that open earlier in the day. Please specify the hours that you need the location to be open. leep-ga | |

Terrific, leep! Unfortunately I need one a bit earlier then that -- I'm leaving Manhattan at noon, and probably won't be able to check google answers again before I leave. But you answered the question exactly as specified, so I'll pay out. Would you please tell me your search path for this info? Thanks very very much! |

I'm currently checking for any pre-noon places. The problem is that many of the places with old booths are "hip" places that don't open up until later in the day. |

You don't need to look anymore, leep... I'm not in NY anymore. Thanks! |
