Point your web broswer at the CUPS configuration port
(http://127.0.0.1:631) and fill in the forms there.

0) if you don't have CUPS installed (i.e. you cannot navigate to
http://127.0.0.1:631), you'll have to install it.
Go to http://www.cups.org/software.php and download the
cups-1.2rc3-fc4.i386.rpm.tar.bz2 file. When it finished run "tar -jxvf
cups-1.2rc3-fc4.i386.rpm.tar.bz2" and then install. for help with
installing RPMs, run "man rpm". If you don't have RPM, switch to root,
and run "yum install rpm".

1) go to http://software.canon-europe.com/
2) In "Printers", choose LaserShot LBP-1120
3) The browser will redirect you to another page. Now, In "operating
system" choose linux and in "language" choose English or whatever.
4) Click Submit.
5) Scroll down and click "Canon CAPT Printer Driver for Linux (1.30)"
6) In this page scroll down and click Driver.tar.gz. Accept the terms
and download. run "tar -zxvf Driver.tar.gz"
7) use rpm again to install the rpms in the package.

Now, configure the printer by navigating to http://127.0.0.1:631 with your browser.
