I have just received in my change a two Euro Cent Coin. On the side where it would normally indicate which country it is associated with, it shows some sort of flower surrounded by "ZWEI EURO CENT". The date on the coin is 2003. I never remember seeing a Euro coin like this. Can somebody tell me what country is it associated with? Many Thanks Mongolia | |

For the record, the coin in question is Austrian. The flower which adorns the coin is the edelweiss, Austria's national flower. More info may be found here: Austrian Mint http://www.austrian-mint.com/e/euro/euromuenz.html Virtual Mint http://www.virtualvienna.net/community/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=364 I must admit that I had to look this up. ;-) Google Web Search: zwei euro cent ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=zwei+euro+cent Best, Pink |
