Chapter 7 of the Student Monitor:
reflects the online textbook purchases of textbooks from college
bookstores. This source:
references the Student Monitor report (chart 1), but insinuates that
the number representing online purchases of textbooks, represents all
online outlets, not just the online supplements of college bookstores.
I would like to know what is the overall online textbook purchasing
market in the United States (not just college bookstore online
purchases ?e.g. not just online sales from college bookstores such as:
http://www.efollett.com/ and http://unh1.bkstore.com/bkstore/content).
I.e. I would like to know what the online textbook purchasing industry
is worth overall, including online retail stores like
barnesandnoble.com, amazon.com, Collegebooksdirect.com, ecampus.com,
biggerbooks.com, studentmarket.com, textbookx.com, bookbyte.com,
textbooksrus.com etc. ? isolate only retail sales, not marketplace
sales where students sell to other students)
Please do not include e-books, but rather only physical copies
purchased. Also, if it could be broken down into used vs. new textbook
purchases, that would be preferred. |
