Who composed a CD of classical music about the state of Illinois. I
heard on CBC radio that there is a modern American composer who's
composing classical music, one CDs worth for each state. I heard the
Chicago song from the Illinois CD, it was a choral piece, and found it
very powerful. Now I want to buy the CD but don't know enough about it
to track it down.

Sufjan Stevens is creating CDs for all the states. Is this your "Illinois" CD?
