I have an older sony c1-vn subcompact notebook computer.
I upgraded from win 98 me to xp home
When I upgraded, I lost the use of the capture button to take pictures
with the built in camera.

More importantly, I loss the ability to go above 480 dpi. Only once
when I booted did the old screen came up which filled the entire width
of the computer screen. All of the other times, the screen leaves
about 1.75 inched of black screen.

I have been to the display and tried to change the settings to no avail
Tried the advanced setting icon without success also

I was living with this problem, but tonight when I tried to add a new
HP printer (3210), the instillation stopped when it detected the low
res screen.

Thank you
