There are rust stains on the outside of our refrigerator door. The fridge door is a plain, old style, regular one, not a fancy steel one. How can I remove the rust? |

There is a paint called Por-15 that can be applied directly to rust that chemically changes it. It cannot be exposed to direct sun and the only color I have ever seen it in was black. But then black appliances are all the rage now... |

I once did a patch up job with white Hammerite paint - it was not perfect |

Depending on where you live, You might get a replacement door from a junk yard specializing in appliances. |
