I am a new car dealer. Over the last two weeks, I have been given many
conflicting ideads/tips from different car salesman. I have seen guys
struggling to make sales and guys who can sell a 100k car to a guy
living in a homeless shelter.
If it's one thing I have learned over the last couple of years, it's
that there is a forum for everything, and the best advice usually
comes from forums.
However, I can't find one single forum dedicated to a group of car
salesman giving advice on one another. However there are tons of
"buyer beware" sites for customers getting ready to buy a car, and now
that I am on the other side, alot of them do nothing but confuse the
customer on what he wants.. alot of people walk in the car dealership
so full of hatred and confused, they do nothing but hurt themselves (I
had one guy refuse to test drive a car because we were out to "trick
him" into buying it, when I was trying to explain to him, that how
much sense does it make to buy a 25k car, wihtout every stepping
inside of it? Not just that same car, the exact car you are going to
buy? he bought it, brought it back 3 days later because he didn't like
how it drove.. which we would have known if he would have driven the
damn car like we told him to, but now we can't take it back, so now he
is pissed at us, when we did nothing wrong but sell him the car he
didn't want to test drive first)
anyway, any help/advice/fourms out there for people like myself? |
