Howdy janabanana-ga,

Nope, "Chainsaw" is not a member of AC/DC. He is actually a guitar
technician that Billy Joel brings out on a regular basis on his tours.

Eric R. Danton's "Sound Check" blog has a comment that has more.
http://blogs.courant.com/eric_danton_sound_check/2006/03/billy_joel_ephe.html

"Chainsaw is a long-time roadie who performs HTH at all shows. All
the shows I've been to, anyway, which is more than I care to admit
here ..."

From the "Journey" website, we find out Chainsaw's real name.
http://www.journeymusic.com/news/archives.php

"Rick 'Chainsaw' LaPointe comes aboard as Neal's new guitar technician.
Chainsaw has recently completed his duties with Billy Joel, and some of
you might recognize him as Peter Frampton's tech from last year?s Arrival
tour."

Mr. LaPointe has also worked with Bruce Springsteen.
http://www.spl-messages.net/ubbthreads/printthread.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB1&main=86978&type=thread

"The band was better, Bruce was firing on all cylinders and delivering
what must have been one of the Top 5 shows of the entire tour ... We
got Twist And Shout, Born To Be Wild with Rick LaPointe on vocals ..."

If you need any clarification, please feel free to ask.
