of these categories?:
1. HVAC designers (with or without an engineering degree, working in a
consulting engineering firm, or an architectural design firm or in a
design-build construction company)
2. HVAC installers (construction of systems and installation of
components in the field)
3. HVAC service technicians (Maintenance and operation of systems &
equipment, working for either a service company or for an owner or
manager of buildings)
4. Designers (engineers or design technicians, but not manufacturing
workers) working for a manufacturer of HVAC equipment, eg: air
conditioners, heaters, boilers, chillers, air handlers, fans & pumps.
5. Sales people, selling engineered HVAC products and systems
(products similar to those described in item 4)
6. Teachers of HVAC design, installation, operation and maintenance
7. Researchers focused principally on HVAC issues, working in either a
university, a government institution or a commercial enterprise
