Hi there. I need to get a list of the companies in the UK who employ
the largest numbers of van drivers (at least the top 50 companies),
together with the approximate numbers of drivers each company employs
directly.

Confirmation of details below:

Vans I am classifing as anything that can be driven with a regular car
licence (class B) which is anything up to 3.5 tonnes in the UK.

Van drivers I am classifing as people employed primarily to drive vans
together with related loading/unloading work. Not included are
tradesemen (e.g. plumbers) who may have to drive a van but it is not
their primary role. Van drivers must be employed directly by the
company i.e. if they are employed by a logistics company who supply
the main company then the entry in the list should be listed by the
logistics company.

Companies I am classifing as any company who employes van drivers.
These companies may be logistics/freight companies who provide may
provide services to other companies and various other companies; e.g.
retail companies who employ drivers for home deliveries, removal
companies etc.

The only companies not to be included in the list are
recruitment/staffing agencies, who employ a lot of drivers on
temporary contracts, hence the drivers technically work for the
recruitment agencies.

List format at a minimum a list of company names together with numbers
of drivers employed by each company in the second column. If any other
information is available; e.g. contact details then please add it to
each row. As mentioned above I need at least the top 50 companies but
again if a longer list is available that would be fantastic.

Any questions please let me know!
