The only info available on keyword popularity at Google is Google
Zeitgeist:

The search spy which most people use for this purpose is Overture.
According to it, 5455 searches for this phrase were made in August
2002 (180 per day). Relatively speaking, it should reflect similar
numbers to other search engines:

If you were using Google Adwords, you would get roughly 18 click
throughs per day, which equates to rough minimum of 360 searches per
day (you must go through a sign-up procedure to find this out).

My educated guess is 500-700 per day, 15,000-21,000 per month at
Google.
