Is there a way to monitor specific search phrases on Ebay? For example
we use Google News Alerts and Yahoo News Alerts right now. We'd like
to be able to do a similar thing on Ebay.

It is very easy to set up a monitored search from within your My eBay
page and within the eBay search framework.  eBay calls it "Favorite
Searches" and, at the top of the search results, on the right, you can
click on "Add to My Favorite Searches".  One of the options for this
is to receive email alerts of new items for up to 12 months
