Even though we?re Red Sox fans, I gueeeeeeeess I can answer this
question. ;) Although the New York Yankees uniform is arguably one of
the most well known in all of American sports, I had never given the
color much thought until now.

According to the official New York Yankees site at MLB.com, the
pinstripes were placed on the uniform for good in 1915 and have
remained relatively unchanged since that time. Interestingly, the
stripes are actually black. There were numerous cap design changes
until settling in 1922 on a . . . NAVY blue cap. So there is the
answer to your question: navy blue.
