Background Information: In South Africa we have an employee training and skills development fund which business subscribe to called the Services SETA (http://www.serviceseta.org.za/). If my company is accredited with the SETA then my clients will be able to claim back a portion of the fees that I bill them from the SETA fund. Just so you know I run a Professionalism workshop which already has all the registered and required Unit Standards for being SETA Accredited. The Services SETA in South Africa is based on the standards from the United Kingdom however I can not find any reference to this in the UK. I want to provide my workshop in the UK but I need to get the material accredited so that companies in the UK can recover some of the cost of running a workshop with me. Questions: 1) Is there anyone in South Africa who will handle my SETA accreditation process for me as I don't have the time to do it myself? 2) What is the UK equivalent of the Services SETA in SA as I can not find it, there are way too many to know which is the right one? 3) Are there other opportunities for me to register my Professionalsim workshop to government grant programs in the UK? If so, which funds apply and how do I go about applying? 4) Is the someone / company who will apply to the respective funds in the UK? |
