I have two questions? an answer for either would be satisfactory. =)

1. How many plaintiffs will not be able to bring their cases to court
for economic reasons BECAUSE of a 250,000 cap on non-economic damage
award cap in medical malpractice [info specifically about medical
malpractice] litigation?

The number can come from any state that has the cap, I don?t really care. =)

2. How many doctors are forced to compensate more than their      
because of the legal philosophy Joint and Several Liability in medical
malpractice cases [again, need info specifically about medical
malpractice litigation]?

The number can come from any state that has the Joint and Several
Liability law, I don?t really care. =)

The source I need for the answer for either of these questions needs
to be from some form of a credible source, be it an MD, JD, PhD, or
something else like that would be ideal.
