I recently switched to a MacBook Pro for a Windows machine, and much to my disappointment my Samsung SCX-4100 printer does not seem to have a driver available (on the Samsung website). I downloaded some installer called "Samsung SPL2 Installer" from a website I found on Google, but this didn't do the trick. The printer appears in my printer list but does not respond. Any help much appreciated! |

Hi. Sanyo DID make a driver for this and it works great - I have it on my machine but tossed out the installer thinking, hey, I'll just download another, newer driver later. But Samsung no longer has them. I'll keep trying to track one down.... |

I found my driver - I have been using the SPL2 with OS 10.3.9. Try reinstalling the driver - I had a bad installation once that did that. Otherwise I could send you mine, yours may be corrupted. There also may be some issue with your duocore, which probably won't be overcome. sigh ... |

salimbag-ga, or indeed anyone else, is there is any chance that you might be kind enough to email me the driver and any other software for the scx-4100 that you might have? i am in a similar predicament and unable to find them anywhere. scat2839(at)herald(dot)ox (dot)ac(dot)uk. |
