I am searching for a death notice in a Chicago paper for Lillian M Lundin
died May 31, 2001 60641 Chicago, Cook county, Illinois
Need a list of her next of kin.

   I searched the archives of the Chicago Tribune with any search
string that I could think of, and couldn't find any reference to a
Lillian Lundin.  Not even an L. Lundin.   If you'd like to look

 I searched the Ancestry.com database for death records, and I found
Lillian's.  Born October 28, 1909  Died May 31, 2001. Last known
residence  Dundee, IL - Last known benefit was in Chicago.   Since the
last known residence was found in Kane County - you may also want to
check records there.

Several message board & newspaper articles came up in reference to Ms.
Lundin -but none of them seemed to be the correct Lillian Lundin.  If

Your best bet will be to order the death certificate, which will show
her last known address and name of relative who reported the death. 
Since the death index shows that her funeral benefit was paid to a
surviving relative in Chicago, go to the website www.whiterpages.com
and do a search on all persons with the last name of LUNDIN in
Chicago, IL and I think you will come up with about 3 listings.  Write
or call each of these people to see if they are Lillian's relative and
you may get lucky to find that one of these people is her relative.

Also write a letter to the last known address that shows up on the
death certificate--the family who is living there now, or the
neighbors, might know how to get in touch with her family and could
give you some good information.
