I am looking for an image. It was first publsihed in Bamakhane, then later in the book Jerusalem Scared City of Mankind A History of Forty Centuries. It is a picture of a paratrooper praying at the wall. He is wearing a kippah and instead of a talis he has a belt of bullets around his neck. It looks like this: http://www.bittanfineart.com/img/products/first%20soldier%20at%20the%20wall,%20six%20day%20war.jpg but is taken from another angle where you can see his face. If you can find me that picture there's a cool $2 in it for you. |

If any researcher wants a cool $2, the referred photgraph is The First Soldier at the Wall by Micha Bar-Am. |

I found that Micha Bar-Am is listed with reference to the Magnum Photo Agency, so it is likely that the desired photo is archived there, perhaps not online. If you log onto this site, maybe you can find it: http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/Home_MAG.aspx |
