Dear fanbelt-ga;

Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question. After
the death of your great-grandfather, the custodian of his will would
have deposited the original will with the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for safe keeping as required by law. To obtain a copy of a last will
and testament filed in Putnam County Florida, you will need to contact
the Clerk of the Court.

Tim Smith, Putnam County Clerk
P.O. Box 758
Palatka, FL 32178

Phone: (386) 329-0361

I hope you find that my answer exceeds your expectations. If you have
any questions about my research please post a clarification request
prior to rating the answer. Otherwise I welcome your rating and your
final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the
near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us.

Your answer is correct; however, based on the first comment posted to
this question, I contacted the Putnam County Courts. Indeed my
great-grandfather's will was on hand and I ordered a copy of it.
After I had ordered a copy of the will, I returned to the question and
saw your response. So, you were right, but myoarin-ga gave me all of
the information I needed.

Still, I will pay the amount because I feel like you played by the
rules and I'm happy to have received the information from this forum
and thrilled to get a copy of my great-grandfather's will.

Greetings,
From this site, it appears that your great-grandfather was listed by
the Social Security as "Fount Rion" and a later relative as "Fount H.
Rion".

If the will was recorded, you will have to contact the Putnam County
Clerk of the Courts:

Good luck!

He had five natural born children, of which, Evelyn Lillard Rion is my
grandmother. Did you know he wrote a 300 page autobiography?
