I have a Gateway mx3228 notebook computer. It's preloaded with
Windows XP Home. -- I need to install Windows XP Pro on it. Before I
do this, I need to backup the drivers somehow. Why? Because if you
look on the internet, there is ZERO support for this computer
anywhere.

The solution probably shouldn't be a software solution either (I mean
like something that relies on .NET framework for example), because I
know once I put PRO on this machine, I'll be forced to boot in safe
mode as a regular boot will give me an "invalid_message_queue" blue
screen.

Ok, I've installed some software that backs up drivers into
executables... I'm about to try it, and boot in safe mode to see if I
can restore them...
