What is the most reliable major shipping service- UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, or
US Postal Service?

I've had losses from each one except UPS; I use UPS the least,
however. Airborne Express was the worst-- of five shipments to me,
only ONE made it!

Insured with tracking (that's the blue label) from USPS has been
consistently good for me with only one loss in many years.
