I seem to remember reading that humans have four activities or locomotions
that are natural. Walking, Running, Climbing, and . . . I can't
remember! Is it swimming? Or standing? Or what? Can you find anywhere
that quotes the fourth activity to complete Walking, Running,
Climbing, and ?

I believe the fourth may be jumping.

This site considers climbing and descending to be two separate things,
but I'd think many would bundle those activities together:

"There are five gaits that are dynamic: walking, running, climbing
stairs, descending stairs, and jumping."

http://www.obesityresearch.org/cgi/content/full/11/1/33

"Issues with fine motor coordination mean that major developmental
targets include walking, running, climbing and jumping."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyspraxia

I can't be sure that this is what you read, though. What do you think?

Before humans learn to walk, they learn to crawl.
