Kirkm,

I located the lip care products size in dollars in a market research
report published in September 2005. I also have the Hispanic
population (as a percent of the total population) in the United
States.

With these numbers I can give you an estimate in dollars of the U.S.
of the Hispanic lip care market.

Please let me know in the clarification box if these figures would
suit your purpose.

Thank you,
Bobbie7

If we have the size of the lip care products market and number of
Hispanics (est. at 38 million), we could use the penetration or
'index' (aka Category Development Index of 'CDI') of lip care products
for Hispanics or the index for a related product category (e.g.
personal care products). It would be acceptable if you can provide the
total retail sales and an index or CDI number.

Kirkm,

Please take a look at this information.

Hispanic households use more Health & Beauty care products than
non-Hispanic households requiring resource allocations for sales,
marketing, advertising, promotions, public-relations, events and
sponsorships 50-100% higher than their actual representation of
Spanish and bilingual households in those markets, or about $1 of
every $3-$4.

SP/Eng HH?s as % of Total HH?s 15%
Hair mousse, gel 31%
Nail polish 24%
Deodorant 23%
Shampoo 22%
Toothpaste 22%

Would this information and the previous information I mentioned be a
satisfactory answer to your question?

Thanks,
Bobbie7
