Sorry this wasn't what you wanted. All the items listed by OneLook
have dictionary entries (which may be seen by clicking on the word).
It would be helpful if you could give more details about your exact
needs. What's the intended use of the list?

Hello lindmar-ga,

You said, "This did and does answer what I wanted to know." Which
researcher gave you the answer that provided what you wanted to know?
Only one researcher can post an official answer. Researchers names are
in blue and "clickable. Thanks.

Like Pinkfreud stated these are "words" that have dictionary entries.
By "words" this doesn't neccessarily mean they are words but may be
acronyms, foreign words, or Proper Nouns. A researcher may be able to
create a list based on your needs. If you require a list of "words"
that are not Proper or acronyms I'm sure a researcher can do that.

I would venture to say thought that $2.00 (of which the reseacher gets
$1.50) may not be enough compensation for the amount of work needed
for this project since it is not a straight-forward one-link answer.
Perhaps you should consider raising the price a bit (suggestion
between $5-$10).

I've used OneLook before with better results. It seems that there's a
bug and the wild card * is not working right. Instead of starting at
the beginning of the alphabet and finding words that end in *ca the
results start with the same letter as the suffix you're looking for. I
tested this with *na. You can still get all the words ending in ca but
you have to repeat the search with all the letters of the alphabet,
i.e., a*ca, b*ca, etc.

I would guess that lindmar-ga is looking for domain names, like for
example toysrus and people would buy toysr.us, and same way for
Canadian domains .ca, furca as fur.ca

I am not familiar with onelook but this should be trivial if you
simply download a freely available wordlist such as one from
http://wordlist.sourceforge.net/ and then use a regular expression
tool such as Unix/Linux grep with 'ca$' as the pattern, assuming one
word per line. If it is not one word per line but is comma separated,
it should be pre-processed with sed or tr, which is also very easy.
