I used to be able to select print from a software program and it would print
the desired pages without any further popup windows. Now, I get a
popup that asks: which printer, all, selection or specific pages. Is
there a way to turn this feature off.

I am using both xp and 2000.

This is controlled by the program itself. Do you have a particular
piece of software in mind?
