I am looking for the name of an old school arcade game that I played
several years ago. It's a racing game, but with people. There were 2
buttons. The first button, the faster you pressed it, the faster your
player ran. The other button was a super jump that would launch you
into the air. It was a 2d game and obstacles would be bodies of water
that you had to swim through or ladders that you had to climb. At the
end of each race, you got to purchase more super jumps or upgrade
other attributes.

My question is, what the hell is this game called????

I also think that the runners wore these mono-colored full-body suit
looking things. There was a guy in pink and a guy in green, for sure.

No, it's not either of those games. The graphics were much better --
the graphics were kind of metal slug-esque.

No, it wasn't an olympic type of racing game. It was more of an
obstacle course racing game. It also wasn't a scroller.
