I was wondering if anyone remember a musical called "The Phantom", written by Maury Yeston. This is not the more popular "Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloyd Weber, but, I guess another version of the popular book. Anyways, my question is, does anyone know if a live performance of "The Phantom" is playing anywhere (preferably near the Chicagoland area), and if so, how can I get tickets? I understand that Maury Yeston's interpretation of Gaston LeRoux's novel is quite different from Andrew Lloyd Weber's version. |

It's highly unlikely that it's playing now and I doubt if it's ever appeared on Broadway. |

Dho, I checked, and the musical does not show in Chicago. In fact, it rarely even shows nowadays. I can give you information about the musical and the soundtrack, though. |
