I live in New York City. Bethpage State Park in Nassau County has 5 great public golf courses, but getting a tee time is next to impossible due to busy phone lines- specifically tee times on the Black Course. Tee time reservations open at 7PM (NY state residents only) one week prior to the actual date (i.e. tee times for the Black course anytime on Sat. May 6 are released at 7PM on Saturday April 29th). This is true for all other days of the week. I would like to find a way to greatly increase my probability of getting through on the busy phone lines on Saturday evenings. I am not sure if proximity or other factors such as dialing from a cell phone vs. land line increase or decrease my chances of getting through. Please email me if there is other information you would need in order to answer this. I guess it would be the equivalent of dialing for concert tickets. |
