Hello,

I have been offered a job in California, and I am trying to understand
how much money I will take home at the end of each month. Is there a
calculator anywhere, which allows you to say your annual or monthly
salary, your other relevant circumstances, and tells you how much
deduction is made?

Also, while I'm at it, do you pay health insurance before or after tax?

Thanks

Hello movinout,

I can provide you with tax calculators for the first part of your
question. Perhaps you would like to separate these two questions so
the second part regarding health insurance can be answered by another
researcher.

Looking forward to your clarification.

Best regards,
Rainbow

First part will be fine. Ignore the 2nd part, if you don't know it.

Health insurance premiums are generally deducted before tax.
