Question ID: 723769
We are from Harrods Casino, some of our players have reported an error
after installing and running the Harrods Casino client on their PC.
They get an error message box :

Title: Interface Error
Message: A site client interface error has occurred.
                Error Code: 0x80010105.
                Please restart your computer.
If the problem then re-occurs, please contact customer service.

We have not been able to reproduce this error. I would like to offer
$200 to anyone who can get us to reproduce this error. What we would
like is detailed information on how this error was reproduced and on
which environment (OS, Machine, browser etc).

The client can be downloaded from www.harrods-casino.com ? it requires
Windows 98 or higher.

Some of the players how have reported this error have XP with SP2 and
IE 6.0 installed, but we have no evidence to suggest that its limited
to XP or XP w/ SP2.

Kismetquery,

Is there a way we can work to reproduce your error without gambling
away our actual money while we do so?

There is no need to gamble, infact gambling from the US on
harrods-casino is NOT permitted.

This is a software problem - after installing the client and runing
it, the error appears. If you are able to launch the client and get to
a login screen you have passed the point where the error occurs. Note:
You do not have to login or register.

The error occurs before getting to the login screen, i.e. the client
will not run and throws up the error message.

kismetquery...

I only got a scripting error as the logon screen came up:

An error has occurred in the script on this page

Line: 2
Char: 8
Error: Invalid character
Code: 0
URL: http://www.harrodsgameserver1.com/ewpharrods/LogonPage.asp

I pasted www.harrods-casino.com into the address bar.

My screen very briefly flashed the message:
-----------------
Loading harrods-casino.com ...

Of the web site does not appear in 5 seconds, please click here.
-----------------

Then it came up at this page:
http://www.harrods-casino.com/Default.htm

kismetquery...

I'd be happy to provide the information you requested, but if
I post it as an answer here, it would cost you the price of this
question. If I post it as a Clarification, I'm not reimbursed
for my efforts.

You can either change the price of this question, assuming you've
given up on your original query, and I can post an answer here,
or you can post a separate question for me, placing my username
in the title, and we can continue there.

Let me know...

For what it's worth, I downloaded the client and it work just fine.
If you want to pay me the $200 anyway, I promise to spend it at your
site, playing blackjack ;)
