I am looking for the original source for this Elizabeth Cady Stanton
quote:

"The more I read, the more keenly I felt the importance of convincing
women that the Hebrew mythology had no special claim to a higher
origin than that of the Greeks, being far less attractive in style and
less refined in sentiment."

I have read that this comes from her memoirs ("Eighty Years and
More"), but I need to know:
1. what page in her book it comes from, and
2. all bibliographic information on this book...or whatever book the
quote truly comes from.

If the researcher cannot find this information, I will accept the page
number and all bibliographic info on any other Elizabeth Cady Stanton
quote that refers to the Judeo/Christian Bible as "mythology."

Thank you.

There is an online version of Eighty Years and More; the quotation
comes from Chapter XXVII
http://digital.library.upenn.edu/women/stanton/years/years-XXVII.html
Unfortunately, although the contents page is reproduced, from which
it's possible to tell that the chapter started on page 438, and the
following chapter started on page 458, the people putting this version
online omitted to indicate the page numbers in the body of the text.

A modern edition of this book is listed at Amazon
