Where can I find the daily closing price for all the listed equities
in NYSE or NASDAQ.
I would like all the information to be in one downloadable file. I
searched NYSE and NASDAQ websites but I don't find it.

Information it contains seems to match. But I would like the
information to be all in one downloadable file not as web pages.

Also is there a place where I can get the stock quote information,
company quarterly earnings release date, etc through a webservice API?

This was the only site I could find close to what you are looking for.
