I am trying to find a way to set up a wireless network, and I was trying to find if there is some way that I can have it to where when any user connects through my wirless network to the internet the first page they see will be my intranet web page. I tried to search for scripts for this, however, I don't think that will work, because I won't have rights to these user machines since it will be a free wireless internet and any user can connect. Would this be through a proxy of some type? Or is there something obvious and easy that I have missed? |

There are many commercial and open source solutions to do this. It will be similar to when you log into a wireless spot at the airport and are presented with a page to log on, etc... I like ZoneCD the best, but you do need a spare PC: http://www.publicip.net/ ZoneCD gives you total control over your users including content filtering and many other features you may be interested in. |
