I would like to understand the number of homes owned by Foreigners in
European countries. For example, in France, x number of homes are
owned by Britains, x by Germans, x by Spanish etc. Ideally the answer
should be in table format, detail each of the major European
countries, and known holiday hotspots, particularly around the
Meditteranean Sea.

Expanding upon this, I would like to understand the statistics for the
volume of Europeans who own second homes within Europe. For example,
how many Britains/French/Germans etc have second homes in Europe, and
where? Again, answers should be in table format.

<I've taken a look for the figures and they are pretty sparse. Most
European governments don't appear to count how many properties are
second homes. The Dutch tax office for example is trying to find out
how many of its residents have bought property in other European
countries as many have failed to declare the assets on income tax
returns.

I have found figures for the number of second homes and which
nationalities they are owned by in the UK, France and Spain. I also
have figures for the number of British owners in Italy and Portugal,
and the number of German owners in Sweden.

If any of these figures are of interest, I would be happy to post them
as an answer for a lower price.>

Hi,
Thanks for your efforts so far. I too have struggled to get meaningful
data across Europe. I'm happy to lower the price to $50 considering
the data you have available.

Thanks again
