As you know, myspace and facebook are two of the hottest social
networking web communities.

I would like an indepth analysis on the urls and what is unique about
different social networking sites.

Here is a useful link to get you started...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_social_networking_websites

I am more interested in sites that have either names or pictures of
ones friends on a persons profile...

Also, Im looking for urls of sites that have users that speak a
different language than English. For example are there any indian,
chinese, russian or arabic social networking sites? Are there any
features that differentiate one site from the next?

These sites have these traits in common

they allow people to make personal profiles and invite their friends
they usually have some specific demographic or target market they are reaching

Examples on the target market are myspace goes after teen and 20
somethingers and started by bringing blogging and sharing of
multimedia to social networking (first popularized by friendster)
Facebook has done the same thing but kept it exclusive to college students.
Orkut is very hot in brazil but hasnt caught in too much in other
parts of the world.

You would find exhaustive links to almost all websites on social networks at
