mickeyp-ga,

Are you looking for a source where you can purchase such a list?

I rather doubt that such a list is freely available.

P.S. There ARE lists available at no cost that cover most of the
information you need for about 2,000 newspapers nationwide. But to
get info for all 9,000 papers is a lot tougher.

Yes, I would be fine with being supplied with a source where I can
purchase such a list but ONLY IF it has *all* the info I'm looking for
(comprehensive of all ~9000 US newspapers incl parent, circ, geo, and
type... I haven't yet been able to find such a source.

They used to publish an advertising directory. Must have weighed 5 lbs.
