samba with ldap backend step-by-step procedure/tutorial/howto on debian sarge

I'm starting from scratch. There are clients on three subnets I need
to deal with so I was thinking a pdc in one subnet and a bdc on each
of the other two. All of this with a ldap backend that accepts secure
connections. Users may log in on any of the subnets and need to have a
roaming profile available. Thank you.

I would be glad to assist with this. Can you please provide more
information? Specifically, how far are you along? Is Samba and or
LDAP already set up? Do you require PDC functionality or just want
samba with an ldap backend for login/pw information?

I have been supporting debian production servers for over 6 years in the SMB market.
