I have recently gotten sick for the second time in a few short weeks.
I now have a bump on the right tonsil that is very annoying. When I
saw the Dr. Yesterday he said it was a puss pocket. How can I get rid
of this thing in a hurry? It rubs on my tongue and is tender to the
touch.

Wouldn't your doctor have advised you on how to treat this, if it
required treating? If he put you on antibiotics then I would say that
it will go away in a few days, seeing as pus usually indicates an
infection, and antibiotics treat infections...
