I have done something to my Word setup that is causing me a formatting
headache. Any links or formulas in my document (i.e. automatic page
numbering in the footer) do not print out- instead, the text, i.e.
{FORMTEXT} or {FORMCHECKBOX} print out. I can not figure out how to
fix this. Any ideas? |

Hi cbreitling,
Go to a page where you see a field code, e.g., {PAGE}, and Press ALT+F9.
Does that help?

Unfortunately, Alt + F9 doesn't fix the problem... When I view the
document, the fields don't show, but when I print, it prints the field
name. I tried Alt + F9 on the page, and also clicking on the field
and then Alt + F9, but neither work.

Ok, cbreitling, this should fix it -
Go to File / Print / Options
"Include with Document":
Clear the "Field Codes" check box
OK / Close
You should now get the code results instead of the code fields
(hopefully, anyway!).
