My Palm Pilot Pro running Palm software 2.05 will not syncronize the
date book with Lotus Notes 5.0 and Intellisync 4.0 software.  I get
this fail message through the Intellisync log.  Error Could not open
the ID file.4031 at LNCalendar.cpp line 425.
Answer  
There is no answer at this time.

It may be because your ID file is on a network drive (copy it to a
local folder if so), or it is write-protected. Of course these are
wild guesses, nobody knows before actually seeing your system.

Did you try to contact your vendor of Intellisync software?
