'Reform of the financial system has been a problematic question for
China'

Has it ? Why ? - bad debts are only bad debts when they are called in
- one could say the Japanese Banking system is bust

Does China need to bother with the financial markets ?

What do the 'financial markets' really do
- they trade debt - fine
- they trade 'pseudo ownership' of companies

Volatility of ownership is very disruptive
- personally I would run China as Putin has decided to run Russia, and
Arnold Weinstock ran the UK GEC
