I want to be able to display a one line exchange rate between 2
currencies in an easy to read format on my personalised Google home
page.

More specifically I need a free feed that gives me the UK pound (GBP) to
Turkish Lira (TRY) Exchange Rate updated at least once daily,
preferably more often.

I have found this available as a web service here:

http://www.webservicex.net/WS/WSDetails.aspx?CATID=2&WSID=10

and can almost get what I want via this HTML link to the web service:

http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx/ConversionRate?FromCurrency=GBP&ToCurrency=TRY

but I don't know how to incorporate this HTML GET and the resulting
XML into a feed that I can use on my home page.
