Thanks for looking at my question...

Here's the situation I know of a
very successful company thats marketing
and advertising online very well and
generating 4 to 5 some times 6 leads a
day.

Is there a way for me to find out what
type of online advertising and marketing
he's doing. So I can model his succes
and get the same results.

Thank you,

You can try www.googspy.com it will tell you what keywords a company
is bidding on and show you the ads.

Another tool you may want to use would be a bid ranking tool. Do a
keyword search for: bid ranking software and you will find alot of
programs you may like.

You can also do a link popularity check, there are many free ones
online and check your competitors back links with your own. Here is a
free place to do this:
http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/default.htm

Also are they doing an affiliate marketing this can be big if they
have alot of other online publishers promoting their business.

Are they driving traffic from off-line efforts, such as print, radio,
cable and directing that traffic to their site?

There will also be other factors that will not be easy to see such as
email campaigns, PR and blog/article/ezine type of advertising they
may be doing, this would take some in-depth research into.

I would tell you to focus on what you do and do your best with the
budget you have, it is good to be aware of your competition but don't
loose sight of your own goals. :o)
