be able to identidy it. I have detailed pictures to assit the answerer
in his search. the root of this weed is what is most curious, it's
very deep for such a small weed,at time upto 12 inches in depth. the
weed is very rough unlike a broadleaf weed. almost like a minature

Hello flnico-ga,

Where do you live? Town, region? When did this weed first appear? In
what kind of setting is this weed found? What kind of lawn? Have you
changed anything in how you care for your lawn? The more you can tell
us about your situation, the more likely someone will be able to find
information to help.

I look forward to your clarification.

It's in Southeast Florida, Hollywood to be exact. The weed started
growing soon after i seeded the lawn to be completely honest i didn't
take notice until it became a problem. The lawn was seeded in 2 parts
first one section. then the other a few months apart from the
other(one the second section has this weed). I started off by applying
a grass and weed killer to kill all the exisiting vegitation (mostly
weeds)once dead i proceeded with a 1-2inch layer of top soil then
seeds. I seeded with vigoro bermuda grass seed mix. I've made several
attempts to rid the problem from your run of the mill weed killer for
lawn to hiring chemlawn inc. to solve all my weed problems niether
were successfull. Please advise if more clarification is needed.
