If you can deny what you feel when you look into my eyes, then go
ahead and lie to yourself.
If you can shut down the sensations you feel when I touch your skin,
then deny the truth.
Your soul is woven from threads connected to mine but this double life
you are leading has you torn.
Do you really think I am that naive? 
You are like a se*ual predator, capable of giving your body but not
surrendering your soul to another...
caught in your own web of lies and deceit. 
 
My honor offends you, my integrity insults you, me being my word makes
you look like a thief of hearts.
You try so hard to push me out of the corners of your mind but I still
linger there like oil on water because I am the light shining in the
darkness of your life.
 You ask yourself why I haunt you, why you are still crying for me
during the night.
I have something to share with you that may come as a surprise; 
your destiny is not bigger than mine, 
my dreams are not small, 
my sharing, my love is enough to consume your desire and burn away your fears.
 
I am not scared of my passions, because I can never lose myself... 
I am not afraid of loving you because you cannot hurt me unless I give
you the power and permission to do so.
 
Love can never abandon the gifts of the beloved, only the foolish take
them for granted.
Love is a rare offering you can open or cast away, sex is easy to obtain.
 I know you still want me, because your voice trembles when you speak
to me, I can still feel you.
Yet you continue to withhold the truth from yourself, too afraid to
let go of the pain to allow love to heal your infected wounds.
You prayed 
for someone like me to come into your life and once I appeared you
were left speechless.
 
Sweetheart, 
you can never manifest anything in your life you are not ready to receive. 
I know you can hear these notes I sing; you are worthy of being loved
but you are your own worst enemy, you fail to believe that you truly
deserve a great relationship so mediocrity is all you attract.
 
The emotional vampires you speak of are in all in your mind, because
here before you is a woman who only wants to love you...
but you fight your feelings every step of the way. 
Learn to surrender...
