Question ID: 726924
There are a couple parts to this question...What language is used for
the iTunes server? What language is the iTunes client written
in(Windows and Apple versions)? What toolkit is used to make the
iTunes GUI? What is used to communicate between server/client
(sockets, CORBA, RMI)?

I am interested in this because I am starting a project that needs
Server/Client commmunication and a tight GUI.

Thanks.

The two things I am most interested in are getting answers to:
- Middleware used for iTunes
- Toolkit used to write client

Answers to those two pieces of information will be sufficient.
